Happy New Year! Are any of the following on your list of resolutions for the upcoming year?
- swim the hour swim in January
- set a distance goal -attend a long course meet
- see Bozeman sign-up -swim with another masters team around the state
- increase yardage or workout times to get ready for the state meet in Great Falls
- add a new component or event to workout calendar for the year.

January is the time to make sure you have reregistered as a USMS swimmer so your magazine subscription doesn't lapse. The form is available on the USMS website under LMSC Handbook. January is also the hour swim month. If your team doesn't already host an annual hour swim event, pick a night during practice to make it happen. The Missoula Hour Swim is traditionally Super Bowl Sunday - bring your own counter.

Bozeman is hosting a mid-winter long course meet January 18th and 19th. Information available at www.people.montana.com/~poolguy or call Eric at the Bozeman Swim Center 406-587-4724. Deadline is January 11th. Fee is $6.00 per person.

Missoula is hosting a meet Feb 9th. Contact Ellen Parchen for more info. rparchen@in-tch.com
